Description: Hike from Lake Alpine up to Inspiration Point for amazing views!

You start out by hiking for half a mile through a lodgepole pine forest before starting a steep uphill climb (the steep part is 1 mile). But it is worth the effort because you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding area. The trailhead is right next to Pine Marten Campground.

Dogs are allowed off-leash.
